Mosquito Deleto

An overview of the mosquito killer and other insect control products and systems.

Mosquitoes happen to be one of the most annoying things in the world to me, and I’m really glad that products like the Coleman Mosquito Deleto exist to deal with them.  The mosquito is a huge nuisance and in my home town, it’s something that I find nearly everywhere.   They’re even more abundant when the weather is warmest, and they’re absolutely horrible at night.  My doors always need to be shut, as do my windows, or I’m sure to wake up the next morning with a few red, itchy bumps somewhere on my body.

I bought Mosquito Deleto about two years ago to deal with this issue, because I simply couldn’t take it anymore.  There are way too many bugs all over the place, and they amazingly prey on your presence because of very subtle cues.  Being in the dark or having the lights off does nothing.  Mosquitoes sense you mainly through three different means.  First, they can pick up traces of carbon dioxide from your breath, as crazy as that sounds.  Then, they can also sense body heat, which is ever present when it’s hot in a room or outside.  Lastly, they pick up on odors, especially ones left behind by things like uric acid, which is sweat.

Mosquito Deleto and some other products do exactly what you’d think they do.  They kill mosquitoes in their tracks.  Let’s take a quick look at some of the specs of this product and see whether it may be an option worth considering for you.

Now I gave you some background information about mosquitoes and how they sense your presence before.  It may have seemed useless at the time since all you probably care about is getting rid of them, but you’ll now see why this was a useful bit of info.  Mosquito Deleto works on the very premise I described.

With smart technology that emits carbon dioxide, heat, and even an extra odor known as Octenol that should lure mosquitoes in, Mosquito Deleto is beating these bugs at their own game.  All it does is simply lure them in with this combined formula, and from there, the mosquitoes are gone.   Their death is basically caused by an adhesive trap that they end up landing on, which in turn dries them out and kills them.

You’d also be interested to know that there’s an add-on called the Mosquito Deleto Inhibitor.  This basically emits another subtle odor that keeps mosquitoes away from you in the process.  If you’re just as concerned with avoiding bites as you are with getting rid of mosquitoes, I’d look into the Mosquito Deleto Inhibitor.

Lastly, let’s go into some details about the price.  The Coleman Mosquito Deleto system itself generally retails for about $200.  Keep in mind though, you’ll also need to buy refills on adhesive, Octenol, and the Inhibitor too on occasion, all of which are in the $10-20 range per refill.

The best recommended course of action would be ordering yours online, since there are typically many sales and good deals on this item via a multitude of retailers.

Lastly, I’d like to wish you the best of luck should you choose this product.  Let’s hope it rids you of your problem once and for all.
